No, it's not complicated, it's simple math
The guy who wrote this lives in his mother's basement ... or at the very least, inside a social bubble. Yes, women tend to be choosy when it comes to marriage. All of them? Hardly! If women were as uniformly choosy as the author implies we wouldn't have battered women's shelters and a 55% divorce rate. Men do tend to marry earlier than women. ...
