Re: something that is never mentioned
Check your facts folks. PP does NOT encourage or promote adoption. IF they did ''Planned'' ''Parenthood'' would be a natural segway toward adoption and offer the services themselves. But they're not really planning parenthood for anybody. Interestingly enough, the Crisis Pregnancy Centers who DO promote adoption are on PP's target list. PP ...

Re: something that is never mentioned
Sorry, your ten cents, isn't worth a nickel. Honest Pro-life folks see that women who are faced with a crisis pregnancy need the greatest compassion of all. Pro-Choice folks don't realize that she's not offered any choice at all except killing her child. Planned Parenthood doesn't offer (or want to offer) information about adoption options, ...

Palin the maverick
She's the Republican's answer to Hillary - and I think if the Republicans feel that McCain doesn't have a chance this time around, why waste Palin on a campaign that isn't going anywhere, anyways? She might as well distance herself - or at least give the appearance of distancing herself, so McCain's campaign can go after what would have been ...

Re: Yes, just blame sexism
Although not a complete answer, but a definite dynamic in this election is America’s love-hate relationship to sex and the stereo-types that hide in the back of our brains. This can be seen in the Before Palin (B.P.) and After Palin (A.P.) variations of the poles. Although beautiful and handsome, some more so than others, no contender had ...

Palin's Choice
I love the thought of women ascending to high office. While women haven't hit the executive office yet, many fine and talented woman have been in the Senate, Congress, and cabinet positions for decades. As a child of the 70s I myself am abundantly gifted with the benefits of the 70s woman's movement. But the thing that bothers me about Sara ...

The Cost Of Reckless Sexual Appetite
The Abortion Cartell is making Billions on plaing their bets between a zipper vs a knife. Now the Cartell prospers in the same fashion as the Bank prospers when one bounces a check. In the end does it really matter if it was by accident or reckless disregard? If an honest mistake, one can call the Bank and pleads one's case for mercy. ...

Hitch On Helms like White on Rice
Gee Hitchens, why don't you and the Queen of England tell us how you really felt about that North Carolinian champion Senator Jesse Helms? I did not know him very well, living in the Midwest among Chicago Democrats and Suburban ''Collar County'' Repubs early in life, and then moving to New England, where both the Democrats and the Republicans have ...

My Samoan Mother Does Not Need Affirmative Action
An AA surgeon, who got into medical school with lower aptitude, grades, test scores and abilities, should operate on my Samoan mother, even though there are better-qualified physicians! Besides your Native grandmother makes you a bigger victim than me with a Mexican (Aztec) mother, so you need AA more. However, I am especially needy, because my ...

Is This for Real ? ?
I can't believe that with all the issues our country has that what a candidate's wife wears and where it was purchased is of any importance. As long as someone isn't naked and their clothing is clean, I have no desire to know anything more. I am also astonished that once again the American public is trying to make someone conform to ''our'' ...
