Emerging MLM Threat
Great article! It is inspiring and makes me want to blog (even more) but you might want to let the world now more about the dark side? You glossed over the subject of blogging garbage and the feasting MLMs (multi-level marketing blogs), ''there are plenty of people who make a living posting dubious crap'', but they are growing. These new “helpful” ...

Reading Online
All the bells and whistles along with the candy spots do not cause one to read. There one may pause but for a second in the blah, and then move on for content. News, views, and adds do not sell themselves. What they need is the story. People need people as much as the dawn needs day and in the night the words that touch the world touch all. ...

What's with the hard sell?

I am not an average reader, though, online or in print. I still get a newspaper everyday. I like books as well. They are compact, durable , don't ...

Nielsen Schmielsen
Great article! While I agree with much of what Jakob Nielsen says, I think people seem to think he is the ultimate guru on designing usuable Web content. His own Web site points to the contrary. I think it's hideous. http://www.useit.com/

Dude: you're doing it wrong
Michael Agger: Seriously, despite the seriously uncalled for Rickrolling, this was an interesting article. However, as a 25 year old web developer and heavy internet user, I've got to tell you: it's completely wrong. The design strategy for a certain generation of web designer involves a look at how people are using the web and an adaption ...
