I am grateful for your kindnessand though hate to disagree;if I made sense of the poemit was unintentionally! And of course you're right. In 20/20 hindsight I see that I read your perfectly sensible narrative into a poem that had nothing to do with what your sonnet said (unless you meant to imply that the poem was a disaster)...and that much, ...

Pretty much what you did with it...
...which is virtually nothing. :) On second thought, you did a lot with it...or rather to it. Judgment on the world juxtaposed with judgment on a poem: this may set a new local record for ''damning with faint praise''. Check out my parody of ''Blues'' and let me know what you think of it. wr ()()
