Slate has a new design, which, unlike other redesigns I've seen, doesn't suck. Probably because the old design was too different from most other similar content portals. If you now remove the annoying automatic refreshes you'd be perfect. Or at least tell us how to disable your push content for a more user-friendly default on 99,999999999 % of ...
