Slate V and The Daily 10
The Slate V video of Wolf Blitzer on CNN getting the Princess Leia message via their new hologram technology was shown on The Daily 10 television show on the E! Network. The host referred to it as Slate Five, however, so someone might want to contact them about the pronunciation in case they use more Slate V videos.

Re: So Sad Prudie on Weight
Thanks JudithS for your words. Looking at replies to this video in general I see a lot of trolling and also a lot of guys who just really don't get it. Being fat doesn't make you a monster, ask thousands of men who are happily married with a great sex life to a chubby gal. My husband had an interesting perspective also on this. His thought, ...

Scooter Mama
Dear Prudie, I'm constantly wondering if all these people who are buying scooters or motorcycles are factoring the price of the bike into their savings. We have friends who each bought a small motorcycle to ''save on gas'' and we figured out that it was going to take them each 17,000 miles to break even! That's a lot of miles on a motorcycle. Just ...

Absinthe Piece has MAJOR fact check problems
The absinthe piece that has just been put up is FULL of bad information. Virtually everything that the portported absinthe expert says is simply made up. Sorry, but it's pretty embarassing that this piece got posted. It's not like it would have taken much effort to find out how absinthe was made and cut him out of the piece entirely. He even ...

slate v doesn't work for me
Whenever I click a link from the home page to view a particular video, there is never anything there. No video. Just the text and a link to discuss. ''Did you see this'' still works fine, though. Is it just me who has this problem?

The Man's Low Self Esteem is the Real Story
Actually, part of his story is likely true. He probably did move to a new city, but in reality, he is lonely and has low self esteem. And he probably has an attractive female neighbor, but doesn't have the self confidence to approach her. So he has concocted a fantasy about her and her friends. And there is probably a really attractive friend ...

Re: It's not Video or Nothing
I know this thread is a year old, but I am so tired of being frustrated with the videos (I've been patient for ages!) that I have to come say something now. I HATE being taunted with a tantalizing headline or graphic only to see I can only get the content in video form. I love reading Prudie. I want to get as much content of hers as I can. The ...

Clinton as Tracy Flick
I should have known better, but I looked at it anyway. I guess I did it because I love Election. You know, I'm just too tired of the candidates being sized up on their personalities - or rather, what we think we know about their personalities - to even think this was an amusing idea. It seems much more highschoolish to come up with this ...

Prudie's bathroom literature advice dangerously wrong
In ''When good co-workers have bad bathroom habits,'' a Slate home page ''video Prudie'' that started automatically, Prudence for Slate V advised that reading magazines left in public bathrooms is completely safe. She authoritatively stated in an authoritative manner: ''Believe me, the reading material is safe.'' She is flat out wrong. What's ...
