Down with Primaries!
This article is an obvious joke, but that fact that it's (somewhat) funny shows that it contains a grain of truth. There are two problems with primaries: (1) they keep getting earlier, and (2) only dedicated partisans vote in them. The solution for both of these is the same: do away with primaries. We got along fine without them for years, ...
