Sore Winners—Just like the Bushies
Although there has been much talk of all the celebrated “newcomers” Obama has inspired to become politically active, there is little media interest in examining how this new flood of “youthful enthusiasm” has transformed the tenor of acceptable political behavior and discourse in the Democratic Party. From questionable voter registration ...

Why Hillary will win, if the Superdelegates do their jobs
The reason primary season is designed to last so long, if necessary, is because this isn't election day in November. This is a process that shows the change in perception as we expose our candidates, learn more about them over time, look at sensitivities amongst different demographics (and no, not all white people are racist) and different ...

Popular Vote Totals in Aggregate Mean Nothing...
... and Hillary Clinton is still due to become the Democratic Party nominee for the Presidential run this Fall. If Democratic Party stalwarts fail to understand that Hillary and Bill Clinton are their best package to run against McCain in this 2008 election season, then welcome to another 8, 16, or 32 years of Republicans in the White House, ...

Obama should quite? NOT!!!
I don't beleive that there is any reason that Obama should quite or even be asked to quit. He is the best choice for the Democratic party and the only chance we have of beating McCain in November. Just because HRC has an agenda of her own which has no concern for either the Democratic party or the American people which stops her from pulling out ...

Of all the dumb stuff I have heard this election
This is the dumbest. The front runner should drop out of the race because the person in 2nd place is too determined? Really?!??! There are only three possible reasons for having written this article: 1. You are a Clinton supporter 2. You are a total wuss 3. You are desperate for a new angle to write about in this election. Whatever ...

Re: Are Hillary supporters soon to be called "cult followers
Not all Clinton supporters are cult followers. I'm a former Clinton supporter and I can see some of the reasons there are still so many behind her; especially the older women. Older women (for arguments sake say, over 60) fought so hard against discrimination that this would be the crowning achievement in a struggle against sexism. Younger women ...

The "Popular Vote" Measurement Is UnDemocratic; Here's Why.
Putting aside Michigan and Florida for a moment, which have unknowable results without a fair re-vote -- the popular vote itself is a bizarre concept in this hybrid caucus/primary year. I have seen these calculations showing Obama with about a 700,000 vote lead, but there cannot be a ''total'' popular vote calculated when some states use a caucus ...

Superdelegate Primary
I think that the prospect of a Democratic superdelegate primary in June is a superb one. Not only does it end the process quicker, allowing Dems everywhere to unite behind one candidate, but it will step two sweaty months of debate and speculation as to what should happen at the convention in August. One question though...what exactly would be the ...

Where are YOU at?Bashing all including Reagan conservatives?
There was an article that I read that had an ineresting take on the whole thing. ''the liar the rasict and the warmonger'' http://www.nolanchart.com/article3282.html The author bashes Reagan conservatives and all three canidates. It pretty much explains where im at on the elections. I dont know who to vote for anymore. Do we want the same old ...

Let the voters speak
We may have the most engaged electorate ever in our history, and you want to mug millions of voters from their opportunity to participate? Only the political junkies are tired-you want to see a return to cynism? A power play like that will piss off a lot of people. Obama will be a better candidate for this if he does prevail- he needed to have ...
