Recent US led Afghan Airstrike Violate International Law
International Law is explicit about civilian protection, including but not limited to Article 51, 52 and 57 of Protocol 1 of the 1949 Geneva Conventions. Violation of these articles are demonstrable by the recent U.S. raid on an Afghan Village as reported in early May of 2009. Article 51: Protection of the civilian population Paragraph ...

Pres Bush making money after leaving office.
I am sure he could peddle his ''weapons of mass destruction'' and tell stories of the other faux pas he fed the American people. I would love to hear his best one, of how everyone is America has gone from being prosperous to penniless and jobs leaving day by day, while we still give it away in foreign aid. Who was it that said, ''let them eat ...

Failure to Admit Blagojevich Appointee to Senate Big Mistake
Failure to Admit Illinois Governor Blagojevich's Appointee, the eminently qualified and well reputed Roland Burris, to the United States Senate will prove to be a supremely Big Mistake made by the Democratic Senate Leadership and yes, Barack Obama. News today is that the U.S. Senate will seat 59 Democratic Senators, including their Candidate ...

Re: Obama and the Preachers
I think the problem is that there is a preacher at the inauguration at all.The US has a secular government because no one faith can represent all citizens. What about the 1,104,000 Muslims; 766,000 Hinus; 2,831,000 Jews, and even 5,691,000 Mormons in the country? (stats: Wikipedia) Surely the majesty of the office of president is more of a ...

Mike the lovable
He is lovable and a really nice guy. But his F0X show is about as boring as you can get. He really wants to be president it seems. The article was very adorable but I hope the author was kidding.

Who said, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"
I agree that during the campaign she was remarkably racist and sexist. Both are incredibly manipulative. She is fantasic at what she does though, and brilliant. I think a lot of the abuse they ground through from the a holes of the GOP all those years made them who they are. They had to adopt an ''if you can't beat em, join em.'' I do love them ...

"everybody's President"
During the Nov. 7 Gabfest Emily said something like this ''He (Obama) is everybody’s president''. Not true. For people like me, who are gay, he is not our president. Not just because he holds the standard ''separate but equal'' notion on marriage that we get from his party. But his election itself is a sign of Gay and Lesbians ...

Obama's First Time
Let's look out for Obama's swagger over the next few years. During the recent press conference the comments about Nancy Reagan and tax rebates were, to me, awkward attempts at presidential gravitas that were only hinted at during the campaign. I think it can easily be attributed to nerves and the tasks at hand. We like you the way you are, or ...
