  • Oliver Stone butchers Dickerson in W. (the movie)

    I saw the preview of W. on the 10/9/08 episode of the Colbert Report (colbertnation.com or hulu.com). Not only did Stone cast an OLD man to play John, but he slaughtered John's words. His words.   • Way more listenable!

    I've enjoyed the last two Gabfest podcasts -- for the content, but mostly for the much more reasonable overall tone. I'm afraid the program had gotten right on the edge of my tolerance for goofy asides, over-talking, arguing, and other distractions. But I kept listening out of a hunger for useful insights on this difficult political campaign. ...
