Write Like Palin
Since my e-mail message to the listed entry point bounced, here is my offering: I prayerfully considered the theological implications of Bristol’s pregnancy and found myself resonating to the heartbeat of Mother Earth as I contemplated my beautiful, gamine-faced daughter and the difficult but life-changing decision that confronted her.

Re: Sentence, actual
That is hilarious. I remember reading the OP initially before the big reveal and thinking how ridiculous it was that the Left would criticize Palin's writing style while at the same time saying that ''she didn't even write it!''. That was extremely well done, KevClark64.

Palin's real goal may be kingmaker/cabinet secretary
It seems to be in Palin's interests to pretend to want the presidency even if she doesn't. That way she can be a kingmaker later on in the nomination process by shifting her fan base to other nominees and extracting paybacks later on. Even if this doesn't work, the extra exposure will continue to bolster her creds as an 'elder stateswoman' ...

Newsweek Cover
Will someone please point out that the Newsweek Cover Palin is complaining about and the cover of her own book look like they could have been taken from the same photo shoot? Also, that posing in a way that makes it look like there will be a nudie when you turn the page doesn't really give you cause to complain. I've been a susbscriber to ...

Three Lessons for Dems -- One For Reeps.
The results last night have been analyzed to death because political news is so slow that pundits need to find danger for the Obama administration in order to gin up ratings for the coming election cycle. But looking at the data objectively, democrats should learn three lessons from last night and republicans one. DEMOCRATS 1. Get back to ...

Who cares if John Edwards cheated on his dying wife?
My guess is the media would have done pretty much the same thing with Edwards as they did with Obama...not bother to do their due diligence. The press did a miserable job of investigating the backgrounds of these candidates. If they had, they would have long ago realized that the Ayers relationship existed and looked deeper into the real estate ...

U.S. government DOES put a value on human life
The federal government does indeed put a value on human life. Doesn't anyone remember around a year ago when the Bush administration took heat for lowering the value of a human life by almost $1 million? These figures were used by the EPA when evaluating the cost-benefit of various proposed rules and ...

Palin Doesn't "Fear" Health Policy -- She Demagogues It.
If there is any doubt as to why the townhall bullies believe healthcare reform will bring down the country it is found in the mainstream media which presents Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck as being misinformed about the issues rather than cynically manipulative. Why is Palin ''afraid'' that health care reform will put a ...

I know most of you have probably seen this already but just in case... On the Tonight Show, William Shatner reading Palin's 'last' goodbye speech verbatim, accompanied by bongos and a string bass. Priceless...
