  • NOT JUST NO.... HELL NO!!

As one of millions of smokers.... I am tired of how we are treated and tired of the looks that are given as we light-up !! Now the government has demanded alot more money from us because we smoke (guess I should have become an alcoholic instead ! ). And now, because there is a smoker in the White House, it should be over looked! I DON'T THINK ...

  • Re: Let Obama smoke cigarettes in the White House

I bent over with laughter at this article. It was so well written and absolutely true. Jay Leno in his monolog said something the other day that also had me roaring with laughter. He said that if Obama can fix this economy, he should be allowed to have a ''bong'' in the White House! I think the media gets a little too focused trying to ''find ...

  • Dangers of second hand smoke are the boogie man du jour

If second hand smoke were so deadly, my family would have all perished in the 1960's. Everyone smoked with the windows closed in the house & car, yet not one case of lung cancer in the family (knock wood). • Obama smoking IS a big deal

Having just heard recently, that cancer is going to replace heart disease as the number one cause of death in places like China and India - thanks to smoking - I am not sure why Rosenbaum thinks that smoking is not such a big issue facing the world. Way more people will be dying of lung cancer than terrorist attacks. How many initiatives can ...

  • smoke in the white house?

I don't buy the authors thread. Why stop with smoking? How about throwing in some pot, too much alcohol, and other recreational drugs. How clear do you want the President's mind to be when he receives that call 3 O'clock in the morning?

  • I'm important too...I should be able to smoke!

The point is completely missed. It's another example of how self important elected leaders set rules for the rest of us, yet they see justification in them being exempt (yes I know it was just an editorial), such as a rationed style government run health care system that they won't participate in. I'd like to see Nancy Pelosi stand in a post ...
