Fishy or not the Army is going to have a tougher time recruiting next year. The recovery is just beginning and no one in their right mind wants to go to Afghanistan.

Well, that's a very good piece, ending with a facile, throw-away parenthetical lacking in any meaningful analysis. As a US Navy Recruiter.....
I think we all should just as concerned with the Army lowering their moral standards as much as their aptitude standards. To my understanding a recruit can enter the Army with more than one convicted felony and/or sex offense.
