  • I'm a Liberal and I'm damn proud of it!

Okay it’s time to put an end to it; I'm speaking of using the word Liberal like it's absolutely the worst label one can be pinned with. For those of us who call ourselves progressives, let’s vow to wear the word Liberal proudly on our lapels, the way we once did. Remember, it was John F. Kennedy who said: What do our opponents mean when they ...

  • Why do kids of rich people become liberal?

Quite recently we started looking for a school for our elder kid. After some hesitation, we dismissed the government schools - since we knew that they were horrible. The only decent option was to go to private schools. Now, I hope you understand that we are not super rich, and it's not easy for us to afford a private school. Moreover, both of us, ...

  • The loss of Zimbabwe and South Africa to the Reds . . .

. . . compares favorably with the loss of Afghanistan, Tibet, Hong Kong, and China to the Socialist/Communist ideologues elsewhere. Of course, the Anglo-American world Realpolitik has suffered it's share of losses to Right Wing Ideologue regimes, as well. Look no further than France, Italy, and Iran among others. We could even mention America in ...

  • ObamaRama – Snatching Defeat

Firstly, Barack is not a ''devout Christian.'' He grew up in an entirely secular home and only joined a church in Chicago in his mid 20s as a way to engage with his new community and because church-going is de rigeur for advancement in national politics. But the blog captures precisely why he cannot win in November. Obama is the darling and ...

  • Where are YOU at?Bashing all including Reagan conservatives?

There was an article that I read that had an ineresting take on the whole thing. ''the liar the rasict and the warmonger'' http://www.nolanchart.com/article3282.html The author bashes Reagan conservatives and all three canidates. It pretty much explains where im at on the elections. I dont know who to vote for anymore. Do we want the same old ...

  • Summation denied

As a Roberts, Alito, Scalia and Thomas fan - and a gun-rights supporter - I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed my first exposure to a Dahlia Lithwak piece. Wonderful writing! Sadly though, her summation is but another screed of liberal fear-mongering. Such mis-analysis from such an otherwise obviously well-toned intelligence.

  • Re: Liberal Movies=Lowest ratings ever!!!

I'm not a liberal. Some here might call me a fundamentalist Muslim, perhaps even an extremist. In any case, I saw No Country for Old Men. I didn't see it as liberal. It showed a starkness, a cruelty which would make a person who hates murder and the chaos of criminalism, more determined in his principle. Do you hate murder? Despising ...

  • Hm. This is funny...

Obama, the guy who said he would directly negotiate with the worst American enemies - has his supporters and stuff attack an American journalist? Obama pretty much refuses to be interviewed by Bill O'Reilly? And the liberal media eats this shit as if it's ice-cream. Well, nothing new here. Move along. Typical left-wing idiocy.

  • Re: Fraypoll: Who has the most horrible Xmas campaign ad?

Hillary by far has the worst one. She perfectly follows the stereotype of a elite liberal, who thinks he is taking care of the unwashed masses. Actually, it is worse, since she looks and acts as a queen, giving gifts to peasants.

  • The Abbatoir of Iraq

Hitchens almost made it through an entire article without taking a cheap, slanderous shot at somebody or something. Tragically, at the very end, he broke down and suggested that ''liberals'' (borrowing the craven language of American Fascism) might not appreciate good news out of Iraq, but rather secretly hope for the situation to get worse. It ...
