Re: 120 cats? WWJD? (what would Jesus do)
I have a few cats. We started with one and the rest found us, one or two at a time. We found homes for some but we are particular who gets them. That makes it more difficult to place them. Idiots shouldn't have pets or children. I'm sorry but it just seems obvious to me. That said, we currently have 10 inside and a few untouchable ones outside ...

Re: Collins is brilliant, but doesn't understand ID
Intelligent Design was completely misunderstood when it first was reported. It was based on a scientific paper by a microbiologist who discovered, ((by using the tools of measurement of science, (microscopes)), to study a single cell which has never been classified completely as either a plant or an animal. This is because it moves by its ...

Obama 2012 Election - Anti-Christ
It all makes sense. 2012 is when Obama goes up for reelection and reveals himself to be to be the antichrist. Unfortunately it will be too late and the New World Order will be controlled by his dark hands and his wicked coterie. Woe is we. We is woe. Luckily a man with beautiful pale skin, light brown hair, and Nordic features will save the ...

Crucifixion of Jesus
The Jews method of execution was stoning. The fact that Jesus was crucified is strong evidence that the execution was carried out by the Roman administration under Pilate's orders, in contrast to the usual claim that ''Pilate washed his hands'' of the matter and handed Jesus back to the Jews for punishment. If that had been true, Jesus would have ...

Jesus may not have even been crucified
What historians ''ought'' to ''produce'' is the truth, as best as it can be surmised. There is no historical record that Pilate ordered the execution of Jesus, outside of this biblical claim. Might it be just as, if not more, likely that Gospel writers, creating their texts decades after Jesus' death, might try to make the crucifixion 'look' ...

You have missed the point!!
I know being someone who has read the bible for the first time just recently, and i am now studying it further, that all the bad stuff (at least what we consider to be bad) can easily overshadow the history and the lessons that God is trying to teach us!! God is the father and we are his children. We parent are children. Teach them right from ...

David, think of yourself as a honeybee
Hi David, what a great article. I can empathize with your inquisitive and analytical spirit. I too, am one that has to make sense of things. I challenge your conclusion about the cruelty of God. As humans we can only use the parts of our brain that we unlock to understand the world around us. Think of the honeybee. Do you think as the ...

Why are people named Jesus only in Latin America?
There are a billion Christians across the world, many of whom name their children after Christian characters such as Joseph, Mary, Matthew, and so on. But it seems that only in Latin America you find people named after Jesus. Why isn't the practice more common in other parts of the world?

Jesus a myth?
As a fellow non-Christnas observer, for the same reason the Puritans banned the observance of Christmas in Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1642 (the apostolic era church did not observe it, the date couldn't possibly be accurate, it is a combination of several pagan festivals, and observing pagan festivals even if changed to a ''Christian'' holiday is ...
