Thank God for the internet
Even the lowest of the lower caste know someone who's aware that those a larger world out there. Exploitation of the uneducated poor is rapidly curtailing. Maybe not every Chinese, or Indian will own their own cars, but they can aspire to it.

Emerging MLM Threat
Great article! It is inspiring and makes me want to blog (even more) but you might want to let the world now more about the dark side? You glossed over the subject of blogging garbage and the feasting MLMs (multi-level marketing blogs), ''there are plenty of people who make a living posting dubious crap'', but they are growing. These new “helpful” ...

paying attention
Your comments, however thoughtful and wise, are after all just another layer in the cacophony of advice, criticisms, denigrations, and observations that float across the airwaves. As the saying goes: Advice is cheap. Amid all of the bad and gratuitous advice out there, nevertheless kernels of wisdom occasionally get spoken and potential ...

Palin promoted by Blog
Considering John McCain recently said he doesn't use e-mail, but he's recently started using ''the Googles'' on ''the internets'', I hardly doubt he learned about Palin from somebody's blog.

RE: Spammed and Prudie's Advice
I shouldn't be surprised at the blatant subjective information held within the advice to Spammed regarding the emails from his family member, but pointing to an article from the Washington Post as ''proof'' of any candidates religious/spiritual affiliation is a joke. And going one step further, pointing them to that candidate's own website as ...

The Edwards Photos
Enquirer just released the photo (singular) and, well, the Emperor has no clothes. That is, the photo, while not necessarily faked, is not even close to damning, is laughable. I stared at it like a Magic Eye image, trying to see the hidden picture and, um, no. No wonder it took so long to release them. So much for the ''tipping point'', ...

Google Lively, Is it 3D Social Room or Hackers Trap
Has anyone thought beside the exciting 3D Social world, how Lively can be used by hackers to get access to users sensitive information. guess how hard will be for a hacker to simulate Lively Room embed in Flash or other web languages. ''Doesnt google concept of embedding Google Lively rooms on any webpage, sounds like google advicing its users to ...

A Refreshing Change of Events
I find it oddly comforting that regardless of any manipulation in the press, when confronted with this latest salacious story, by and large the public says ''meh''. When pressured to join the tarring they fight back. When it comes to reasoned debate, the voices of restrain (in my limited experience) win. More encouraging is the growing ...

Internet plus Open Architecture
One of the disruptive things about the Dash is that users (and companies) create widgets for it, apps like: -- Twitter my latitude and longitude-- Check Trulia houses for sale in this neighborhood-- Find the closest store with a Wii Fit in stock-- Look for speed traps ahead-- Find the next Kinkos on my route There's an on-line forum for ...
