Who said, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"
I agree that during the campaign she was remarkably racist and sexist. Both are incredibly manipulative. She is fantasic at what she does though, and brilliant. I think a lot of the abuse they ground through from the a holes of the GOP all those years made them who they are. They had to adopt an ''if you can't beat em, join em.'' I do love them ...

Barack Obama's Campaign Difficulties, from A to Z
A is for ''an Academic'', is he too much of one? And does this mean he's unable to have down-home fun? B is for ''too Black or not black enough,'' is he the former or the latter, and If we've transcended race, does it really matter? C is for ''dealing with Hillary Clinton'', now there's a sticky wicket! Can he assuage her supporters without ...

Sorry, but I don't agree
Donna: We don't talk about the morality of universal health care, quality education for all, or a living wage. More importantly, we don't even talk about how they benefit all Americans, not just the working poor. As a friend says, ''You have to meet people where they are and bring them along.'' We refuse to do that. Obama hasn't done it and he ...

Generation Ego
Generation Ego: As an Obama supporter I have been cringing every time I hear any media reference to Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Wright is so utterly out of touch with modern reality that his recent comments are hardly worth repeating. It is hard to understand this mans motivation. He has likened the recent criticism of his sermons to the ...

Re: Hillary appears HillBilly and Obama Presidential
Hillary Clinton, the next Tonya Harding On this day in 1994, Nancy Kerrigan of Stoneham was practicing for the U.S Figure Skating championships. She was leaving the ice when a man assaulted her with a club. Forced to drop out of the competition, she recovered in time to compete for the U.S. at the Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. In February, ...

Character Matters When Picking the Next President
by bacalove, Sun Apr 06, 2008 at 09:17:36 AM EST In picking the next President, we should be looking for one who has shown character, ethics, and morality. Who ran a positive campaign and did not choose to attack, lie and distort the opponent's record? Who can we believe to be truthful? Who can we trust to do the people's business? I believe ...

Clintons Furthering Racial & Gender Divide
It is a shame how Hillary, Bill and their Team have initiated Race and Gender into this nation, emotions and standards we were moving away from. Young women go to war, and hold many jobs that were not open to them before and Blacks too. We were making strides towards equaliy of the sexes and moving toward a more united nation, and the Hope and ...

Re: Why is Obama singled out?
MNINJ:Well, I do not agree with your rather stringent criterion but in principle, I can understand it with the caveat that your definition of ''hate'' and ''association'' should be consistent, and should not embody any proper-noun-based biases. To me the more relevant questions are whether Obama shares Wright's objectionable views, or his ...

Selling One's Soul to The Devil!
Very enlightening article that she would be so cozy with one who has accused her and her husband of 60 Murders! Will she go to no lenghts to Win -- even selling her Soul to the Devil. This brings to mind Bill's visit with Rush Limbaugh, which enabled her to win over Barack in Texas by the 100,000 Republican votes which gave her the slight ...

It pretty much explains where im at on the elections. I dont know who to vote for anymore. Do we want the same old ...
