I agree...I think it's a non-issue (me-Independant voter, not rich...). In fact, I think Slate is showing their political cards by having an article on this. These kind of articles are what justify the FOX news watchers (my mother!) into labeling the media the 'liberal elite'. On top of the fact, it's sexist. I haven't heard anything reported ...

In particular, I find the attitude of disgruntled Clinton supporters who say they won't vote for Obama to be ridiculous and thick with irony.
