Re: something that is never mentioned
Sorry, your ten cents, isn't worth a nickel. Honest Pro-life folks see that women who are faced with a crisis pregnancy need the greatest compassion of all. Pro-Choice folks don't realize that she's not offered any choice at all except killing her child. Planned Parenthood doesn't offer (or want to offer) information about adoption options, ...

The Big Bailout...Ha!
There is no need for a bailout of the bank when we can bail them out through tax payer spending...heres how: America has fought hard to become an independent nation and a leader in innovation, so how can we fix our current economic downtrend efficiently? Some seem to think that throwing money at the corporations who failed us is the answer…we all ...

Palin's Choice
I love the thought of women ascending to high office. While women haven't hit the executive office yet, many fine and talented woman have been in the Senate, Congress, and cabinet positions for decades. As a child of the 70s I myself am abundantly gifted with the benefits of the 70s woman's movement. But the thing that bothers me about Sara ...

My Samoan Mother Does Not Need Affirmative Action
An AA surgeon, who got into medical school with lower aptitude, grades, test scores and abilities, should operate on my Samoan mother, even though there are better-qualified physicians! Besides your Native grandmother makes you a bigger victim than me with a Mexican (Aztec) mother, so you need AA more. However, I am especially needy, because my ...

Re: I'm with Kim!
I reccommened this, and I wish I could a hundred times over. The Oppression Olympics that we've been struggling through this primary season has been ugly & unnecessary. I swore on Super Tuesday, when my state had its caucus, that I would work towards the election of whichever candidate the Democratic Party put forward, because I believed ...

Re: FOX Lies!! Barack Obama Pastor Wright
I have to say, this isn't just FOX news. The green day song ''American Idiot..one nation controlled by the media'' comes to mind. I'm getting really sick and tired of ISMS ruling our country and our lives instead of ideas and thoughts and common sense. Fanatacism, politicism, racism, conservatism, liberalism, ageism(sp?),fundamentalism, ...

Re: Hilary, be honest?

It totally mystifies me. part of what a gendist is btw is someone who places an unnecessary burden on someone because of the ...

Why Hillary Clinton doesn't need to either
One of the most unproductive conversations to emerge from a year of pseudo-debates and meta-coverage of media meta-coverage has been that of whether it is harder to run for president as a black man or a white woman. The question itself embodies a paradox, since the very thing that makes it so urgent to ask (that these are the first ever female or ...

Obama's Arrogance
I've been reading a lot recently about Barack Obama's ''entitlement'' to everything, including the job of president. Now it appears that he thinks of himself as super-entitled to everything, compared to all of the ''mediocre'' white males who attend public colleges. This man isn't entitled to anything, particularly not my vote and support!

Speaking of Mediocre? Calling this Document Hot is Silly.
Dear Bonnie; As a corporate law firm partner specializing in civil rights since 1985, I fail to see anything whatever remarkable about young Obama's utterly accurate comments from 1990. Race discrimination in my profession and in most professions has been well documented and, even in recent studies, it persists, particularly at the hiring ...
