I smiled with knowing familiarity when reading this article. I travel internationally and wear earplugs on red-eye flights to transform the noisiest cabin into blissful silence. They are also my saviour when trying to overcome jet-lag on those nights in strange hotels when you know you need to sleep but even the smallest sound reminds your body ...
