I would be cautious with the idea that the Euro Hurts Greeks. I do not even want to think what would have happened to the Greek economy if we still had the drachma with its fluctuations. Slow down in Europe
When the BMW's and Mercedes start stockpiling (in Germany) along with the Sennheisers their price in inflated euros will drop. Though not as much in the US - real and perceived value will be lost. Unemployment and inflation will follow.

Anne Applebaum is right. I remember stories from my father as well as my uncle how much they appreciated the fact that they were able to listen in their Youth to RIAS and similar broadcasts behind the iron curtain. They listened out of curiosity for real news. But of course also out of love for music that was not part of the state sponsored ...
