I m sorry we re Americans . Our country is huge ! Cars are in our blood ! Americans have a love affair with our cars ! It sure is ''interesting '' to compare our country to ''peee u n eee''* European countries. Think square footage ! I mean really... Yea its great to compare a gallon of gas to a cup of Starbucks...i like knowing it costs ...

Don't dismiss solar - solar systems w/batteries do work 24/7
The article is correct in pointing out that no country, not even France, has a long-term solution to the problem of nuclear waste, and that the problem is significant. Thus, nuclear energy cannot be embraced as a solution to the problem of greenhouse gases, much as we all long for a solution. The article is _not_ correct in implying that ...

Waste storage wouldn't be an issue if we did it the right wa
U.S. politicians have been debating nuclear waste storage for years (see Yucca Mountain) when other countries have little issue with it. Why? Because they recycle spent fuel and minimize their radioactive waste (and the half-life of such waste) by orders of magnitude.
