  • The Effect of TV "Teen Dramas" on Tennagers

This post is directed mostly at parents, but is certainly welcoming all ideas, and is moreso an attempt to gain some new perspectives on a topic that I have always wanted to explore in greater detail. Although I am not a parent (and only age 25, at that), I am very curious to see how parents feel about television drama programs that are geared ...

  • end of the recession

One month of low unemployment claims does not signal the end of the recession. More than 25 million Americans are unemployed and it will be years before they are back to work. That is not a glimmer of hope Mr. Obama.

  • recovery

We have 20 million and counting unemployed. All of these people and their families will be consuming less: restaurants, retail stores, and entertainment. More small businesses will fail andthis will fuel even more unemployment. I don't look for the recovery to begin until 2011.

  • Depression, Stress, Anger & Heart Disease

According to recent surveys, about 75 percent of Americans are worried, depressed or angry about the economy. All of us, it seems, know someone who has lost their job recently, and many of us worry that we might be next. Sleep is hard to come by for many of us during these turbulent and uncertain times, and as I have discussed in recent articles ...

  • Republican Spending Freeze

So now the Republicans are united in wanting a Spending Freeze! That is exactly what Pres. Herbert Hoover did in a similar situation which caused the Great Depression. It probably doesn't matter too much to them though as I can see they've already stuffed their pockets enough to last the durration. Fiscal Conservatives - my arss! I quit the ...
