    This student would completely be a hypocrite if he uses his ethnicity to gain an advantage in admissions. He (or she) evidently did not have to wrestle with this choice as an undergraduate because of merit. Now, facing a more challenging environment, is choosing to use ethnicity to gain an advantage.
