Pangur Bán From the ninth-century Irish poem Pangur Bán and I at work, Adepts, equals, cat and clerk: His whole instinct is to hunt, Mine to free the meaning pent. More than loud acclaim, I love Books, silence, thought, my alcove. Happy for me, Pangur Bán Child-plays round some mouse's den. Truth to tell, just ...

Cat and bedtime
I sympathize with the girlfriend who finds sharing the bedroom with the cat strange. My husband felt the same way. Thought I was spoiling the animals. I introduced the first cat and now we've moved up to one cat, four dogs, and a bigger bed. Life moves on. Today's purrs may be exactly what is needed to mask tomorrow's snores. No arguing in the ...

You might try febreze on those days...
I'm told if you spray it around the carpet and curtains, that it will cut down on the static electricity. and there are aerosols too that pooter users use...(we rarely have to deal with static electricity up here.) He'll come around. He huddled in your lap. It's obvious that he's used to humans. And I'm not familiar with California traditions, ...

Cat Post by Cat
This is for Maui and Gabe, and the mommy who loves them both. Nook and Cranny hid for hours, tucked away between the foldsof denim jeans and wooley sweaters, warmed by love and wonders told:dusty boxes, balls of string, and waiting laps that never scold.
