  • Not so sure these are obscure...

    I used to eat a lot of dried squid when we lived in Occupied Japan...and rediscovered it in the 70s...of course, they've since learned that it's infused with arsenic...so I don't eat it so much now. My mom spent much of her childhood in Philadelphia...where she had the odd German relative. She grew up eating Scrapple, Beef-Kidney Pie, and Onion ...
