  • Reason: Dishonesty of Main Stream Media

This is clearly the single largest factor. Recent TV Viewing statistics show that about 80% of viewers are getting the political trash offered by the MSM. That means about 50 million viewers did not get the full truth about Ob's association with William Ayers, Acorn, the financial crisis, etc. I'm working on a boycott--any help ideas out there?

  • Fasten Your Seat Belts; We're in for a Very Bumpy Ride!

All those hedge fund gangsters, Wall Street bedouins, investmant banksters, financial thugs and high interest hooligans have finally killed the goose that laid the golden egg! They have turned our beloved country into just another Third World nation. Through greed, avarice, theft, lies and deceipt unmatched in human history, these cutthoats have ...

  • Beijing's Olympic Mascots

As long as the Chinese government trades in murderous infanticide, suppression of freedoms, ideas, and the chosen destiny of individuals, I choose to have nothing to do with the entire fiasco. The Mascots are simply affectations that have little to do with the reality of the oppressive Chinese government. Much of the world boycotted Hitler's ...

  • Protesting 2008 Olympics in China

I don't think I'll be watching the 2008 Olympics because of China's terrible record on human rights and their treatment of Tibet. Politics may be a dumb reason to many people to avoid watching this year, but killing protesting peaceful monks who just want a free state with their own laws is much worse.

  • Good Job

The person who wrote this article should get an award for bringing this to the spotlight (I know they are not the first, but good job). I think its disgusting that they chose China of all places to have the Olympics. No country is perfect but for a country that is the size of China, they are still living in the dark ages. I agree with DawnStar's ...

  • GO PROTESTORS!

I will be boycotting China with you! I stopped purchasing ''Made in China'' products no matter how necessary or bargain they may be. If there isn't a label, I don't buy them either. That's my Boycott. Not only for political reasons, but They killed our pets using rat poisoned packaging in petfood. They made our children sick using lead poisoned ...

  • Beforing considering Olympic protest or boycott...

A few points I'd like to share; hopefully people will find them interesting, useful, enlightening, or entertaining:1. Has anyone with such heated opinions on this forum - for or against protest or boycott - stopped to ask how the chinese, taiwanese, or tibetan people feel about the subject, individually, in entirety? 2. Has anyone with such ...

  • Weak logic...

Boycott has not done much. To say the Russian boycott of the '84 games was a ''success'' seems like a bit of a stretch, and to say that the American boycott in '80 was a success has more weight, but is still pretty damn thin. Whether or not it weakened Soviet propaganda efforts significantly is debatable, but what is not debatable is that the ...

  • Race & Clinton

According to a thoughtful friend who is African-American, a good number of African-Americans are telling each other that if Obama doesn't get the Democratic nomination they will boycott the elections. These voters are reacting to the widely reported (in the minority media and a bit in the mainstream media) Clinton efforts to attract Hispanic ...
