Mirror, Mirror
What claptrap. Jack Shafer pontificates on the failings of other writers for being too enamored with various vice presidents over the years without realizing the absurdness of a writer wasting his time making these observations. It is the journalistic equivalent of pulling a speck out of another's eye before attending to the plank jutting from his ...

lemmings
I'll take the ''gaffs'' of someone trying to honestly communicate to the pre-fab, pre-spun, BS sound bytes coming from most politicians. I can't believe people are such lemmings to continually jump on him for this. Don't we have bigger fish to fry?

Bidenisms
Biden isn't the sharpest tack in the box. What I find more distressing though is our President who is unable to hold an intelligent conversation without a teleprompter. I have heard Reagan, Clinton, Bush (both Father and Son) rally on when their teleprompters failed. The reason they were able to eloquently continue is because they were active ...

Who cares if John Edwards cheated on his dying wife?
My guess is the media would have done pretty much the same thing with Edwards as they did with Obama...not bother to do their due diligence. The press did a miserable job of investigating the backgrounds of these candidates. If they had, they would have long ago realized that the Ayers relationship existed and looked deeper into the real estate ...

He's the one doing this thing to Obama. It was his plan all along to take over the Presidancy.

Wow -- What a Rant by "Rage Boy" Chris Hitch Today
I am perfectly content, really quite happy, about Obama's decision to have this mega-Church author, pastor, and cultural figure, Rick Warren, give the prayer at the January 20th Inauguration of our new United States President. I understand the apoplexy of ''Rage Boy'' Christopher Hitchens at the very thought of a prayer being said, let alone a ...

Biden/Clinton Reversed. Dream Team & Real Secretary of State
General Jones is great, but I am preoccupied by Clinton at State and poor Biden, better qualified for State, but relegated to a lesser role. Could Obama's failure to name Hillary as his running mate (and promise Biden the post at State the one he most coveted) been his most important political error in the 2008 campaign? In his press ...

Obama May Have Gotten the Biden/Clinton Selections Backwards
Today Barack Obama grinned and brushed off a reporter's question about primary campaign statements he had made about Hillary Clinton's actual foreign policy experience -- a series of tea parties with a few heads of state. He handled himself with charm as usual. But this was not a gotcha question -- it was a fair and good question. I am not ...
