Lifetime? Choose Eternity.
You say, ''Reading the Bible has given me a chance to start an argument with God about the most important questions there are, an argument that can last a lifetime.'' Why settle for a lifetime arguement (which I can't imagine anyone would actually desire) when you can have a loving relationshiop for eternity? You are a seeker. Read on, and ...

I don't have the answer
First off, anyone who says they have the answer really doesn't know what they're talking about. My reading of the Bible is acctually pretty sporadic. It makes me feel uneasy sometimes, and confused. When I read about Moses, I had the hardest struggle with why God would harden Pharoah's heart like that. I don't understand the death, the ...

Who Do We Think We Are?
David Plotz feels as if he HAS to believe in a God as described in the Old Testament and then work backwards to work out how to believe in a God that could be so cruel; otherwise his choices are to believe in Christ as the son of God or in ''some vague 'creator' who is not remotely attached to the events of the Bible...'' So what? The Bible was ...

Is it fear of drastic change? or Maybe they will have to give up their petty little life in exchange for a glorious one? The Bible says also that people will be turning away from God ...

Fantastic article!
Someone tell me why those in the USA who try so hard to get the 10 commandments posted all over in our public square and taught to our kids in school break so many of them trying to get that done? And also fight so hard to take money from the poor and middle class and put in the hands of the rich? And also to keep corporate greed-based health ...

Too Broad A Brush Stroke, Archbishop
The Archbishops use of Beth Din to justify sharia demonstrates his complete lack of understanding of Jewish Orthodoxy, and is, ultimately, an insult, to Judaism. Jews have always submitted to the law of the land where ever they migrated. The Orthodox take only religious matters to the Beth Din. If a mutilations, beatings or “honor crimes” were ...
