This beach chair has a place to prop up feet...
You can either use it for a 'table' or prop your feet on it. Using it for a table doesn't look like it would leave much room to put your legs under there. Other than the Renetto, they're all built too close to the ground...
Wouldn't it just be easier to take a ground pad or beach towel if you weren't going to be sitting any further off the sand than that? Why bother carrying in a chair built THAT close to the ground? Is it just to prove yuppie status or something? What? Inquiring minds wanna know...

The best portable BEACH chair
Though the top rated chair looks great - on a lawn, it lacks an important aspect for a beach chair; it doesn't rest on horizontal bars to keep you from sinking in the sand and falling over. I have gone through many beach chairs and finally found the best ever. It is called ''The Maxx Daddy''. I was frankly surprised not to see it on your list. You have not sat in a more sturdy or comfortable beach chair until you try this one. I know it is more expensive than most but it doesn't rust or fall apart like the many others that I have ...

Best Beach chair EVER
To bad Tom Bartlett missed the Kelsyus Backpack Beach Chair. You can hoof it down to the water with no problem (and all of your other stuff too) and once you have it set up, it's by far the most comfortable chair I've ever sat (or napped) in. And if a geeky sunshade is a requirement, it's an option too! It definitely should have been included ...
