It makes no secret about it being a subscription service and sells audiobooks individually. All out in the open. I don't find Audible to be the type of business I would ever support.   • Can someone besides David Plotz do the audible.com promo?

    Much as I enjoy his analysis, and I do, every time he announces the audible.com sponsorship his voice does this weird rising thing at the end of almost every word, kinda like a teenage girl talking about how sexy Ewan McGregor is, on weed. Maybe Mr. Dickerson could give it a shot?
