the Lost Campaign...
Guess what? Jerry Seinfeld couldn't cut it. You'll have to give him another 300 million to prove Windows isn't lame. But it is! Yes Google! Yes.

Other than tweaking Apple, not memorable
Aside from the John Hodgman lookalike at the beginning, these ads remind me not so much of Apple's ads, but rather an earlier Microsoft ad campaign from several years ago, also very P.C., showing ordinary middle-class people from all over Europe and North America (and maybe South America, too) getting up in the morning, bathing, eating breakfast, ...

MS ads show they are still not getting it
Just my opinion, but I think MS still doesn't get it. Their new commercials are better than the awful Seinfeld ones but I think they're still missing the obvious point: Apple is selling *features* with their snootiness while MS is just responding to the snootiness. MS needs to pimp their features. Here's a (bad) example: guy sitting at ...

amazed
In my profession I use several ''Windows PC'' systems, a small Intel (Windows) based server farm, a Cisco IP phone system (hosted on a Windows / Intel / IBM server platform) 2 Macintosh Macbook Pros, a ''Big Mac'' (Intel based Mac with over a terabyte of disc storage) and 2 IPhones. I have been with Bell South > Cingular > AT&T cell ...

Sorry I Changed To 3G
I received one of the first iPHones upon it's release. Loved it from day 1. Since I used it for email and web access I looked forward to a faster connection. I upgraded the beginning of August and soon discovered very poor connectivity. The phone was defective. So now I am on my second 3G phone and with a 3G tower less than 1.5 miles from my ...

Windows PC to Apple convert!
I have used Windows PC's for almost 20 years. I just went along with everyone else following the Windows PC Pied Piper. I remember Apple computers as something out on the fringes. They were something I was always curious about, but I listened to the nay-sayers who bemoaned Apple's lack of software and incompatibility with just about anything. ...

why apple can afford to be an ass
because they know they will always have people like mr. manjoo that will orgasmically cry out that every new product line is the greatest thing created since the internet. you sound like the girlfriend that has a boyfriend that is always cheating on her, but keeps taking him back and acts angry/surprised when he cheats again.

Lemons masquerading as Apples
My G4 was repaired already 4 times in the past year for various problems at $300 a pop. It is in the shop again for failure to charge (I first replace both the battery and the charger). It never leaves my desk. My Fujitsu laptop always travel with me and it gets a beating. Never failed. Self-flagellation is something Iranians do, as American ...

Macs
I'm not so sure that one tech writer's experience with Macs convincingly backs up the claim that ''Apple's PCs aren't doing so well either.'' Until OSX is supported on other hardware, which I guarantee it will be within two years, albeit on a limited scale, I'm stuck with Macs. I need a Unix system, and I need Photoshop + Illustrator, so it's an ...

I burn DVDs
Oh no! iPhone/Apple/Steve Jobs isn't perfect! As someone who needs a powerful, stable, high performing computer, there is no other platform that I would trust. It's proven time after time to be the best investment in my studio. Its combination of form and function makes it the best option both for the simplest tasks, as well as the most ...
