    I understand (and agree with) Saletan's concern with selective abortion of girls, traceable, I am sure to a lower value placed on girls in China (and other places). But note that the ratio would not be skewed if the same number of girls, but a larger number of boys had been aborted. Would that then be OK, to kill the same number of girl ...
