How long Must We Study Marijuana?
WHY ISN'T EVERYONE SCREAMING FOR LEGAL MARIJUANA? Every report says the same thing about MARIJUANA IT HAS NEVER KILLED ANYONE IN HISTORY No adult deaths, no kids have ever died from it, (not that kids should have it but it's good to know they won't die from it). Most reports say users drive with even higher safety than people that ...

Can a night Owl become a morning person? I did!
Oh yes. The infamous title of ''night owl''. I have been dubbed a night owl for as far back as I could remember. I have never liked getting up early in the morning, nor have I ever enjoyed getting less than eight hours of sleep in one evening. After having my son, I had tried and tried to become a morning lover but I had failed miserably. I've ...

Re: Count my vote as a "nay" on this one
I think the real issue is that most people need to feel smarter than some fairly large segment of the population, and unfortunately, the smoking population seems to be the target of this need at the moment. An excellent example of this can be found on an earlier post entitled ''Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!'' Read the whole thread to see what I'm talking ...

When moms have the freedom
I am so happy my husband supports my desition of staying with my child at home. I just couldn't leave him in childcare. I tried 3 different center after I actually visited like 15. It was just so devastating. I came home to cry all evening for leaving my child with who know who... We couldn't afford for me not to make money, we need my income. But ...

what mommies do
Lots of moms who have decided to stay home because they just can't leave their babies in daycare, either because they find the separation too hard or because after having to pay childcare fees and gas they don't really bring much money home, they are doing GPT sites from home. I am one of them. No, I didn't believe in those sites at first. My ...

Dickerson...Thank You!
Dickerson's got it spot on! People seem addicted to melo-drama...especially that which is political. These over-dramatic outbursts by the Obama campaign are not only tiresome and embarrassing, but go directly against what his recent speech suggests. Obama's words create more of a curtain that a window to his soul. His is a campaign of better ...

Sex Addiction does not discriminate
My heart goes out to the whole Spitzer family. Nine months ago I made a similar discovery about my husband and partner of 20 years. The pain and disruption of having the whole context of my life ripped away in an instant was excrutiating. Fortunately I found information about sex addiction that helped me understand what we were going through. It's ...

Urinalysis Countrywide
Last year the Italian's tested their northern rivers for drugs and what they found made them at first think that someone had dumped a couple of pounds of amphetamine in the water. Only later did they realized they were getting for the first time an accurate reading of the amount of drug use that was taking place, not what they wished to believe. ...

Re: Pill-popping
Hooray!!! I work in a publicly funded health clinic and see the exact same things you are talking about. We do have people with VERIFIABLE pain, like cancer patients, or people with horrible injuries, etc, and our doctors can prescribe as much as they need to for these people. But for every one of those we have four or five who fit the profile ...
