Fetus NOT Part of the Female Body and the Sticky Wicket
Absolutism in theory often rides roughshot over reality. A viable, living fetus is NOT a 'part' of the female's body. It is indeed a separate living being WITHIN the female's body. The distinction between a 'part' of a body and a 'separate being' inside a body is when the former is removed from the body at a certain time, it cannot survive. The ...

Re: Catholic Hypocrisy
Yeah Cassandra, it's not uncommon to hear people discuss their apendectomy, or fracture, or tonsilectomy, but they never openly discuss their abortion. I wonder why? Surely they don't care about MY opinion do they? Surely they aren't ashamed of something ''safe, legal and acceptable''. Or are they.... Yeah, they are ashamed. Deep down, we ...

Re: something that is never mentioned
Well you need to read some more then. Your emotions cloud your reasoning. If in fact you have an education, then you know (particularly as an ethicist) that uncontrolled outbursts are a sure sign of a hidden problem. I'm guessing involvement in an abortion. But maybe not. But surely, if that's the case, you'd have to agree that your ability ...

Re: Catholic hospitals and FOCA
higgsboson wrote: I do wish people who write for public consumption would stop using the euphonious match for ''pro-choice'', and simply call themselves ''anti-abortion''. Because that is what they are. Funny God Particle, but I wish people like you who call yourself ''pro-choice'' would use the correct term ''pro-abortion'' because that is ...

Re: So sick of this.
Correction.... one point six million murders per year. Almost fifty million since Roe v. Wade. That's roughly 17% of our population. That's 1/6 of our population - young people who would be starting their own families now, paying taxes, buying houses and contributing to society that are missing. Yep, no issue is bigger than slaughtering 1.6 ...

Re: something that is never mentioned
Check your facts folks. PP does NOT encourage or promote adoption. IF they did ''Planned'' ''Parenthood'' would be a natural segway toward adoption and offer the services themselves. But they're not really planning parenthood for anybody. Interestingly enough, the Crisis Pregnancy Centers who DO promote adoption are on PP's target list. ...

Re: something that is never mentioned
Sorry, your ten cents, isn't worth a nickel. Honest Pro-life folks see that women who are faced with a crisis pregnancy need the greatest compassion of all. Pro-Choice folks don't realize that she's not offered any choice at all except killing her child. Planned Parenthood doesn't offer (or want to offer) information about adoption options, ...

religions define death
God ''formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life'' As this Christian biblical basis goes - why then is it not after a fetus is born? Only as a newborn does God breath into the nostrils. The argument or concept of life beginning ''at conception'' does not seem to be in alignment with the teachings of ...

Palin Teenage Pregancy.
What no one is considering here is the possibility that this young girl could have been coerced/pressured by her boyfriend into having unprotected sex. She also could have been raped/incested. And given her mother's zero tolerance stance on abortion, that would mean that the possibility exists that this young girl is being forced by her mother to ...

The Cost Of Reckless Sexual Appetite
The Abortion Cartell is making Billions on plaing their bets between a zipper vs a knife. Now the Cartell prospers in the same fashion as the Bank prospers when one bounces a check. In the end does it really matter if it was by accident or reckless disregard? If an honest mistake, one can call the Bank and pleads one's case for mercy. ...
