I did love the movie, and I loved it in particular for the way it used the medium fully, combining visuals and music to put you both in the moment and in the mood of the moment, using the camera for intimacy and expansiveness. Slumdog Millionaire
Slumdog is not a documentary on India's poverty and so doesn't have to follow the rules of fact. It's a movie, an art form, and only has to be true to itself in whatever manifestation it chooses. Gurujeet, I am also surprised that Slumdog didn't get any mention and am very perplexed by its omission. Danny Boyle is a genius and way ahead of David Fincher's time. What gives movie clubbers, too much testosterone? bgpiano68
