WORST VP CHOICE EVER
Mr. Hitchens, you are BEST!!
Who in the world but you could've nailed the essence of what is so completely backwards about this woman's position on science? !! What I don't understand is why the scientific community --including the Governor's science teacher dad-- hasn't come forth with a more comprehensive unified outcry. Would like to share a link to the short story w/ ...

Clearly clueless ...
It was so obvious that she didn't have the slightest idea what a Presidential Doctrine is. She had never heard of it before ... you don't answer, ''In what way?'' to such a specific question ... but she didn't recognize it as a specific question, because she didn't know how to define the elements of the question. It was like asking an aborigine ...

Funny, everyone else knows the Bush Doctrine
I'm not sure what's more distubring: a VP candidate who doesn't know one of the fundamental principles espoused by the sitting president, who happens to be a member of her own party, or a ''reporter'' writing an article proclaiming that there's no such thing as the ''Bush Doctrine'', and even claiming to have used Google, when in fact the first ...

Mean Girls
I can't stand Sarah Palin: The speech she gave was so belittling and sarcastic, not to mention full of inaccuracies. For example, it was baffling that she even mentioned the ''Bridge To Nowhere.'' Hasn't that line already been discredited? Does she get away with being so bitchy because she's attractive and smiley? And all these people fawning ...

Palin's got my attention - looking forward to October 2
Sometime during what seemed like a never-ending primary season, I decided that McCain and Obama's VP picks would ultimately determine my decision in the presidential election this year. After all, what I ultimately want in a President is someone whose decision-making abilities I trust. I take them both at their word when they say they love this ...

McCain and Palin: Circus Atmosphere, Wild West Revisited
I venture to opine that the majority of reflective observers will concur that there is an element of a circus atmosphere surrounding Senator John McCain's selection of Governor Sarah Heath Palin as his vice presidential running mate. Flashbacks to Ringling Bros. Circus-Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth--the Wild West--with the ...

Sarah shakes!
If the Republicans are planning to lose in 2008 with the goal toward winning in 2012 and 2016 the choice of Sarah Palin is sound. It shakes everything up and puts pessure on Obama's choice of a token white. Unless he can dramatically change things he will be blamed for both the war and the recession.
