Is Education Really that Bad?
Who says education is failing so badly? Why do we use the SAT or college entry as a baseline for successful education? What about the students who never took the SAT and became electrical workers or plumbers or joined other needed blue collor careers? Why can't we look at students five years from high school and see who are the most productive ...

Major Error
Beijing and Shanghai do NOT have the hardest versions of the test. They have the EASIEST versions of the tests - everyone in China knows that. Did the author really talk to her students? It was one of the first things I heard when I arrived in China. This should be fixed as it endangers the credibility of the article.
