Goodbye "Reagan Dems" & Good Riddance to Pollster Greenberg
“Goodbye Reagan Democrats” is the title of a rather vitriolic column by pollster Stanley Greenberg in the Nov. 11th New York Times. Brian Dickerson has a good column in the Nov. 12th Free Press, responding to it. Here are some excerpts from Greenberg‘s column. I’m finished with the Reagan Democrats of Macomb County in suburban Detroit after ...

Walden University Presidential Youth Debate
I'm Jessica and I'm a co-producer of the Walden University Presidential Youth Debate http://debate.waldenU.edu. . We're working really hard to inspire informed voting throughout America and in doing so we created this debate. Its important to stay educated and see where the candidates stand on issues that are important to you and can help ...

Obama’s Challenges in the Campaign’s Final Days, from A to Z
The video. This is a radically different version of my earlier video, for which I forgot to put in a disclaimer that I was not buying into the criticisms, but merely listing them. The same goes for this one, although it is more upbeat in tone. Here is the script: “A” is for [A]CORN, a group which gets out the vote. Right-Wingers have (falsely) ...

One sided media
I do agree that McCain needs to improve his speaches and focus on how he intends to fix our economy and protect the American People. However, Obama has not stated how his policies will fix our economy. All he states is vote for me and I will do the right thing. But How? Also, I feel that the media, including these polls and opinions, are focused ...

Re: Polls
I'm sitting in the middle of the road right now, although comments that people make because they make more than me wants to jump on the band wagon of the underdog. Most people who vote for someone that allows corporate companies to control this country it usually doesn't effect them so they will vote to allow jobs to go overseas and to allow 4 ...

Politickr
I appreciated this insightful review of the history of political betting. I'm a political day trader and a journalist, and I wrote my master's thesis at the Columbia Journalism School about political prediction markets. I follow them closely at my blog, http://politickr.blogspot.com. Check it out if you're interested.

US election polls
The US Election 2008 is upon us! Election polls everywhere! Which one to choose? I use a widget to keep track of the progression of polls. The widget shows the election polls by strength of states. In addition to other different graphical visualizations of data, this one displays the progression of votes over time.It gives a great overview!I ...

The Audacity of Accomplishment!
Among the many political advantages that Sarah Palin’s candidacy brings to the table is that her mere presence will inevitably invite all too predictable and insulting Barrack-attacks from Democrats, such as the patronizing and politically self-destructive comment made today by none other than Barrack Obama on “60 Minutes.” Obama condescendingly ...

Franken on the Hill
Before we rebuild another country we need to clean our own house. By that I mean send career politicians packing, rather they be republican, democrat or an independent. Sorry this means Ted Kennedy needs to go home and fight his cancer and Oklahoma's Istook needs to return to mopping floors at the radio station. There could be worse things to ...
