Bombing is not Occupation
The nuclear weapons programs of Syria and of Iraq were derailed for years by relatively small bombing programs. Hitting a few crucial spots in Iran once every three years or so will eventually cause the Ayatollahs to give up their nuclear weapons ambitions. There is no need to manage the population, install democracy or any nation-building. ...

The Other Fight...
Fighting; aggression is natural and we need to understand that it is as much a part of us as other emotions. But where we focus that aggression has changed the way we fight for better half of the 20th century. Much of the world's major fighting takes place in third world or undeveloped countries and rarely on the soil of super powers like England, ...

Art. 239
With JP, I agree that art. 239 from the Constitution is key here. Dan might say Zelaya never sought staying in power. However, Zelaya tacitly opposed the dispositions of art. 239 by wanting to revamp the Constitution, which, he said, would include provisions for reelections and maybe a longer presidential term.
