  • Pandering From the Scion of UBC

I never fail to be amazed at the crassness and mendacity, displayed by President Bush, his closest advisers and speech-writers. To stand in front of the Knesset and talk piously about 'appeasement the Nazis and Chamberlain' as if he had even the vaguest notion of who Chamberlain was, and then linking it, albeit indirectly to Obama, is a trick that ...

  • What do the speak in Afghanistan?

While Pashto is the language spoken by the largest single ethnic group in Afghanistan, Dari is spoken by a larger percentage of the total population (i.e., everybody but and including most of the Pashto speakers). Dari is similar to Farsi. To my ear it sounds sort of like Farsi spoken with a southern accent, sort of. I'm here all week.

  • How Bush Defines Obama and Himself

Recently Pres. Bush said in the Israel Parliament: “Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along,” he said, without referring to Obama by name. “We have heard this foolish delusion before.” And then, the president dropped the bombshell – ...

  • Re: What Obama-Nuts Do Not Understand (KFS)

I'm not Obama nut. In fact, I've been one of his more vocal critics on this forum. But I have to disagree on some of these points: First, regarding the flag pin. You're right to point out that saying ''wearing a flag doesn't make you a patriot'' isn't really an on-point answer to criticisms of Obama refusing to wear it. But I don't think that ...

  • White Cred my ass

Yet MORE sloppy analysis on ''white working people''. First off, by no means is this a unified/united demographic in anyone's minds other than the tea-leaf readers in the press. Secondly, Obama's had no problem at all garnering overwhelming support from ''white working people'' in states like Wisconsin, Kansas, Idaho, Colorado, etc. What is ...

  • Obama moves forward to take over the Whitehouse

Obama with John Edwards’s latest endorsement has moved on beyond Hillary Clinton, who is heading to the Hall of Shame along with her husband Bill Clinton, while Obama moves forward to take over the Whitehouse, and bring about fundamental changes to politics and starts bringing people of all races together with his inspirational message of hope. If ...

  • Re: The West Virginia Pasting

This assertion is based on what? Definitely not based on the most current polls. Among democrats, Obama has competed against the most powerful brand name, The Clintons, and he has left them in the dust. He won by EVERY parameter the Clintons or anyone else for that matter, decide to use: number of pledged delegates; number of superdelegates; ...

  • Re: Ignorant Niggers vote their kind, just as Ignorant Crackers

Obama never used race to win the black vote. As a matter of fact, as recently as October 07, the blacks preferred Clinton to Obama. Over the months however, Clinton so mismanaged her campaign that she lost not only the black vote, but also the white votes that really matter. Clinton on the other hand had to appeal to the baser instincts of the ...

  • Re: Well, Senator Black Hussein Obama

HellFire: does have his work cut out for him in the South.... as well as Nationally, as Senator McCain is a War Hero and all, and the Nation is at War. Time will tell.... and not that much time as Election Day is right around the corner. Seems you don't have an idea how smart Obama is. He has already taken the edge out of this war hero ...

  • So she gets 19 delegates, and he gets

    9. Doesn't help her a damned bit. She has lost. A loyal party member would concede to the presumptive nominee.
