  • Face it: the media were the biggest losers in 2008

I took calls from voters at the Obama headquarters. About 20-30% were people calling in with the latest in cable news. “Morning Joe said this. He MUST respond.” “Mathews said this, tell people it’s a lie.” “Fox News just reported about Obama’s brother who lives in a hut! What are you going to do!” Most of the time I let them vent and then ...

  • McCain: Call Chicago a Terrorist-loving Haven

Finally! Someone besides Mayor Daley, who last spring issued a statement commending Bill Ayers for his work on behalf of Chicago Public Schools and argued against focusing on a 40 year old past, has spoken out. If McCain wants to damage Obama for serving on the board of the Annenberg Foundation, let him take on the other Board members, too. ...

  • We are all wannabe campaign managers

These might be the reasons Obama stays calm:1. The Obama internal polls seemed to work beautifully throughout the primaries. They may be showing something other polls aren’t.2. Obama canvassing is showing them exactly (counties, districts) where large pockets of needed voters reside.3. Everything negative about Obama has already been ...

  • Bi partisan Response

John, the Obama campaign put out a call for supporters to fund-raise and even go down to the Gulf States to help out if this, as expected, turns into disaster. A bi-partisan ad would be a bit contrived when both campaigns are already on the move. It may be bi-partisan but would be seen as highly political.

  • A Cabinet Post for Hillary?

Hey, I'm as disappointed as any of you Hillary supporters that she isn't the nominee of the Democrats. But I'm over it and ready to look ahead. It's time to get behind Obama and get the Bush Bums out of the White House! PUMA? Get real. The only ones who are benefiting from the likes of you all are the Republicans. Nothing says ''weak'' better than ...

  • Liberal Media Lies

Political logic augurs a Democratic triumph in looming US elections but Barack Obama’s White House duel with John McCain is still a statistical tie, prompting some to wonder why he is yet to break away. Political logic augurs a democratic triumph? Augur: To predict, especially from signs or omens; foretell. What signs or omens are they looking ...

  • Re: Put Obama on the spot with his lies-Part 2

Obama misleads and LIES on Oil Profits Speaking to a town hall meeting on July 31, 2008. Barack Obama tries to slant the money made by the oil industry as being bad. What he once again neglected, ignored, chose not to mention on purpose is the record amount of money the United States Government has raked in from Exxon. Once again the politicians ...

  • Media: Look for at Yourself

So, when you say “There has to be a hypocrisy tripwire somewhere.” should that responsibility go to the press? The press has to be accountable. For example, when the nightly news shows begin their campaign coverage on a Monday night with quotes from Wesley Clark saying McCain’s POW experience is not qualification for the job of president – when ...
