Iranian Change or American Campaign inside Iran
Im curious to see how much influence America has had in supporting the Iranian opposition. America has legally stated that is seeks to oust the Iranian regime of Khamenai and the Islamic republic and replace it with a secular republic/democracy. Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker reported that America has been supporting insurgent groups in Iran, ...

Does Iran Counter-balancing Israel bring Stability?
I suppose being an Israeli nowadays is quite bleak. Warmongers dominate all politics in Israel, apparently, and normal relations with allies who are distant neighbors can be destructive for them - Georgia being such an example. I suppose it seems like increasing Israeli military actions throughout the region is the only solution to protecting ...

Who said, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"
I agree that during the campaign she was remarkably racist and sexist. Both are incredibly manipulative. She is fantasic at what she does though, and brilliant. I think a lot of the abuse they ground through from the a holes of the GOP all those years made them who they are. They had to adopt an ''if you can't beat em, join em.'' I do love them ...

Straight Talk About Israel
Mr Rosner does really invoke TRUTH regarding Israeli US relations. Instead, he calls for downplaying them. Why? Might it be that Rosner does not want the truth about Israeli US relations to be revealed? After 1948, Israel was an modern independent nation with its own foreign policy agenda which included expansion and inclusion of the ancient ...

Makes Me Laugh -- Elites With Furrowed Brows AT LAST - -
So, the FDIC Chairman is a female children's book author from Massachusetts, who started her new job running security for our Nation's bank deposits since 2006? How fortunate for her. I am a Massachusetts/New Hampshire working guy going back to 1990, originally from the Midwest, with some college but no degree, and I have been ''getting ...

The hidden nature of America's power
In all honesty, American power in the global sphere will continue to erode no matter what foreign policy we put into place. Empires always crumble. What's the nature of power? Max Weber proposed that it was the ability to inflict violence against others. Well. America has 12,000+ nuclear warheads, enough of which are mounted on three stage ...

Thank you very much!
Anne Applebaum is right. I remember stories from my father as well as my uncle how much they appreciated the fact that they were able to listen in their Youth to RIAS and similar broadcasts behind the iron curtain. They listened out of curiosity for real news. But of course also out of love for music that was not part of the state sponsored ...

Krebs Can't Shake Imperial Thinking
It seems like so many pundits, thinkers, politicans, and leaders in America just can't shake the mindset that America must advance its interests abroad through conniving double talk, backstabbing hypocricy, and cutthroat manicheanism. Its like the abuser that beats his kids, realizes its wrong, but resorts back to beating them because it just ...
