I've been giving the new format a try before whining, but I just don't like it as much. The value added of the roundup was to know that somebody had been through all (or most) of the mainstream publications and ...

Terrible New Format of In Other Magazines
I hope and pray that Slate will revert to the old format of In Other Magazines. This is easier for the interns, of course. They have to read a helluva lot less. But there's a tenth the content there used to be. With this format, I can no longer rely on Slate to actually tell me what's ''In Other Magazines.'' I could understand adding this ...
