Very interesting
I really enjoyed reading this article. It's refreshing to read something about sports that isn't 'sporty'. Ichiro sounds like a complicated yet focused individual. The article itself was well written and entertaining. There were a few sentences that seemed to have too many words and were hard to follow, but other than that; perfect. Thanks ...

Ichiro is clearly an extremely intelligent, articulate and witty man. Slate obviously doesn't know what to make of that. Odd? Bizarre? No, just grim, analytic, humorless Slate again.

Sorry to Have Signed Ichiro?
The M's are hardly disappointed to have re-signed Ichiro because he allegedly went Berkowitz on the status of his contract.
