Keep the Electoral College
There it was headlining in the national media, the place of my birth visited by then presidential candidate Al Gore. Normally the upper-Midwest town of 3,000 is unknown to all but the locals. But on that day it was in the limelight as a key location in a swing state. While the 15 minutes of fame have long passed, the notion persists that but ...

So - no mention of Electoral College reform?
I'm not surprised; not any more. With all the noise about hanging chads and Diebold, no one in the media ever mentions the Electoral College. Which is rather strange, considering that the Electors directly choose the president, while we citizens merely choose the Electors. Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you. We choose our ...

wrong on all counts
I'm glad you've learned about the electoral college, Vic from Oregon. How did you miss the part that it pertains to the November presidential election, not to the primaries? Or are you a Hillbot moving the goalposts again? Except this move was made weeks ago.

Enough. Please. We get it.
Is it not possible that the political reporters and talking heads that you're referring to are showing a rare bit of restraint? After all, Democrats are still voting in several states. I'm absolutely stunned that so many have refrained from joining the deafening chorus of ''she can't win'' while people still have yet to vote. We don't call ...

You missed a key Obama argument
Obama puts more states into play than Clinton. She argues that she wins the ''big states,'' but that means little when looking toward the fall. Just as Clinton could reasonably expect to win Obama's Illinois, he can just as easily win the typical Democratic strongholds that Clinton won in the primaries - New York, Michigan, New Jersey, and ...

Obama should quite? NOT!!!
I don't beleive that there is any reason that Obama should quite or even be asked to quit. He is the best choice for the Democratic party and the only chance we have of beating McCain in November. Just because HRC has an agenda of her own which has no concern for either the Democratic party or the American people which stops her from pulling out ...

The Count That Counts
Even before her Pennsylvania victory, HRClinton was ahead in the ''electoral votes'' represented by the state primaries she has carried. Talk of popular votes, of states won, even of superdelegates pledged, in the end come to nothing if not to the electoral vote tally. Sure, the superdelegates can decide the nominee, but why put up a nominee who ...

Where are YOU at?Bashing all including Reagan conservatives?
There was an article that I read that had an ineresting take on the whole thing. ''the liar the rasict and the warmonger'' http://www.nolanchart.com/article3282.html The author bashes Reagan conservatives and all three canidates. It pretty much explains where im at on the elections. I dont know who to vote for anymore. Do we want the same old ...
