the press declared a religion
Sounds like great fun! Who gets to decide which religion each paper is going to be?

chicago tribune
It's too bad the deal went sour. The Tribune is one of the few 'great' papers.

washington, or, wall st?
Think Main Sreet. They're the ones footing the bill. Just how much of the $700b will be fraudulently used is anyones guess. How many politicians, lobbyists, and wall streeters will retire on this? Sadly, far too many.

obama's dilemma
It is certain that Obama will win on November 4th. Just as certain that our recession is worsening. I don't think he (or anyone) has the experience or knowledge to pull us out. Therefore he must be very careful promising that which he cannot deliver. Palin will roust him in 2012.

good bye McCain
It is now the time for McCain to bow out gracefully. If there is going to be any chance for Palin, et. al. in 2012.

Obama's sarcasm...
Obama has every right to be 100% sarcastic. Not only will he win the election; he will assume the incredible economic problems facing us today.

no "surge" for Afgahnistan
As we are pulling out of Iraq with our tail between our legs the economy has gone to hell in a hand basket. There is little or no support for a ''surge'' in Afganistan and we must begin to think what failure there will entail.

when is the inauguration?
The Economic upheaval of the last 10 days has secured the presidency for Obama. Can he take us out of a severe recession, or, even depression? Can anyone?
