A modest proposal
Bill is a pain in the as*, but he is a brilliant politician and policy wonk. It would be a waste of his strength not to tap that AND his being sidelined like that would guarantee that a bored Bill would get in trouble before long. Solution: appoint him to Hillary's Senate Seat! New Yorkers love celebrities as politicians they would flock to a ...

Who said, "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer"
I agree that during the campaign she was remarkably racist and sexist. Both are incredibly manipulative. She is fantasic at what she does though, and brilliant. I think a lot of the abuse they ground through from the a holes of the GOP all those years made them who they are. They had to adopt an ''if you can't beat em, join em.'' I do love them ...

Professional Journalism
I know you are professional journalists. A profession is a fancy Latin term for the way you express your belief in the one true God as you understand him. Mr. Webster describes profession as the act of taking the vows of a religious community, or: an act of openly declaring or publicly claiming a belief or faith: an avowed religious faith a: a ...

The Audacity of Accomplishment!
Among the many political advantages that Sarah Palin’s candidacy brings to the table is that her mere presence will inevitably invite all too predictable and insulting Barrack-attacks from Democrats, such as the patronizing and politically self-destructive comment made today by none other than Barrack Obama on “60 Minutes.” Obama condescendingly ...

A Cabinet Post for Hillary?
Hey, I'm as disappointed as any of you Hillary supporters that she isn't the nominee of the Democrats. But I'm over it and ready to look ahead. It's time to get behind Obama and get the Bush Bums out of the White House! PUMA? Get real. The only ones who are benefiting from the likes of you all are the Republicans. Nothing says ''weak'' better than ...

Franken on the Hill
Before we rebuild another country we need to clean our own house. By that I mean send career politicians packing, rather they be republican, democrat or an independent. Sorry this means Ted Kennedy needs to go home and fight his cancer and Oklahoma's Istook needs to return to mopping floors at the radio station. There could be worse things to ...

Enough. Please. We get it.
Is it not possible that the political reporters and talking heads that you're referring to are showing a rare bit of restraint? After all, Democrats are still voting in several states. I'm absolutely stunned that so many have refrained from joining the deafening chorus of ''she can't win'' while people still have yet to vote. We don't call ...

The "Unsaid" about HRC
Doesn't anyboby notice how untrustworthy are the HRC's camps? I am not one of those blind supporters who will back BO or HRC if they start making mistakes after mistakes. I am a Democrat before and a supporter after. As such, I will vote democrat in November. Nonetheless, I have to point out while all politicians are scumbags, in the case of BO, ...

Obama should quite? NOT!!!
I don't beleive that there is any reason that Obama should quite or even be asked to quit. He is the best choice for the Democratic party and the only chance we have of beating McCain in November. Just because HRC has an agenda of her own which has no concern for either the Democratic party or the American people which stops her from pulling out ...

Re: Hillary appears HillBilly and Obama Presidential
Hillary Clinton, the next Tonya Harding On this day in 1994, Nancy Kerrigan of Stoneham was practicing for the U.S Figure Skating championships. She was leaving the ice when a man assaulted her with a club. Forced to drop out of the competition, she recovered in time to compete for the U.S. at the Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. In February, ...
