All the bells and whistles along with the candy spots do not cause one to read. There one may pause but for a second in the blah, and then move on for content. News, views, and adds do not sell themselves. What they need is the story. People need people as much as the dawn needs day and in the night the words that touch the world touch all. ...

Why CBS should shutter...
I stumbled across the very episode of the 60 Minutes referenced in this article and am relieved to know that I am not alone in the opinion that CBS should shutter and perhaps batton down the hatches as well. Poor Katie, need I say more?

Not ready to see CBS news go
Honestly, I'd hate to see CBS News go as a whole. Sure, it's not great, and isn't bound to get any better, but it does provide some things that other sources are severely lacking. CBS News Radio. Sure this could stick around if they ditch news or just make it part of the entertainment division, but their radio uses their television as a crutch. ...
