George W. Bush Is an “Old-Shoe”
George W. Bush is the veritable “old-shoe“: Comfortable and unpretentious, also seemingly unmoved by anything - shoes being thrown at him, wars gone bad, huge deficits, the effects of insufficient oversight and regulation of the financial community, incompetence and negligence on the part of his appointees, politics driving almost every decision ...

Great Review of Some Important Books . . .
. . . Terrorism and Democracy ...

Crimes and Misdemeanors
Thanks, gang, for the shine but shouldn't that be HIGH crimes and misdemeanors? We wouldn't want the public to think the Bush Gang's boo boos were equivalent to Parking Tickets. I tried a search for Vincent Bugliosi's new book, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder and came up with zip. You know it's number nine on NYT Best Seller List? ...

Not an utterly pointless fight
Webb's shouldn't have been concerned about hurting Jr's feelings. His concern was for his child and his disdain for an idiot war (chief) is valid and founded. Obama and the Demos need a few more with a Webb-like background in order to add some gravitas to a light party. We could stand to learn a few leasons about not letting stupid people push ...
